All educational materials and information are current and research based. To develop relationships with community resources, courts, probation, parole, and any agencies that can assist participants with solutions and aide in reducing the effects of alcohol and drug abuse. To provide a clean, healthy and courteous environment. To deliver information in a manner conducive to learning. To follow all State and Federal guidelines for confidentiality. To be a voice for recovery: raise awareness and involvement of family members, community resources and professionals. What is “A Chance For Change” ?
ACFC is an education based program, providing educational services diverse in nature.
Approved DSHS provider for the 15 hour Drug Offender Education Program, meets the requirements for Texas Transportation Code for license reinstatement. 12 hr Alcohol and Other Drug Education, 10 hr Marijuana Intervention Program, Relapse Prevention - Coping Strategies, Administrative License Revocation, Theft Intervention, and Anger Management. Alcohol and/or Drug Screening, Addiction Severity Index Assessments/Evaluations, UA’s with recommendations, and Individual Counseling available upon request. Services that cannot be met through the licensing agencies of “A Chance For Change” will be referred to the appropriate agencies in the community. |
